Get to Know Me

Sarah Bentley Pearson has a passion for design and homes which led her to begin selling houses in Atlanta in 2005. Sarah is originally from the Washington D.C. area and in addition has lived in East Berlin Germany, New York City, and briefly in Birmingham, Alabama, before settling in Atlanta in 2001.
 
When Sarah moved to Atlanta, she searched and searched for a home with "good bones." After a long, arduous search on her own, the realization came - "Why can't I find a Real Estate Agent who understands what I want?" It was during this thought process that the realization came that she should do this herself! Sarah grew up in the world of real estate. Her mother owned several investment properties throughout Maryland, New York City, and later in Atlanta. When Sarah was in middle school, she was helping her mother find new properties and improve them. Sarah's motto is: "Work as hard as you would as if it were your own!"
 
After Sarah committed to becoming a Real Estate Agent, she scored at the top of her class on her licensing and state exam. Sarah then went on to become a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors®, Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club and was awarded the "2005 Rookie of the Year" at her former company, Jenny Pruitt and Associates. In addition, she became a founding member at Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty where she worked for almost ten years. In 2016 Sarah joined Ansley Real Estate, inspired by their mission to be a one-stop-shop for their clients and the best marketing in the business.
 
From a home renovation to a new construction build, Sarah can guide you through the process as she has done it for her clients and herself and has incredible resources. Sarah's specialty is getting the full picture of what a buyer is looking for in terms of aesthetics, neighborhood, and amenities. "It is so important to understand the specifics, furnishings, and architecture to help your clients realize their dream," Sarah says. "Yes, a home continues to be one of the best long-term investments one could make, but it also must feel like a pleasure every time you walk through the front door."
 
When it comes to selling, Sarah is your best resource! She has a team who works with her to get your house in tip-top shape to sell. You need someone who will do what it takes to get it sold and get the best price possible. This all comes with knowing what buyers want.
 
Sarah started her college education at The Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., and New York University in New York for Business Marketing and Business Law. She has a son named Pearson Wesley Powell who is an avid basketball player and attends Holy Innocents Episcopal School with his step-sister Fallon. Sarah is married to James Robert Kaufman and has four stepchildren: Chase, Taryn, Jameson, and Fallon.
 
In 2022, Sarah joined forces with Michelle Wing of Ansley Real Estate to enhance the level of experience for their customers. With over 40 years of combined experience, we are here and ready to serve you.
